Hey y’all, it’s me, Charley.
I’m coming to you not just as a friend, a teammate, or a name you might recognize—but as a son standing in the fire, doing everything I can to hold my family together through one of the hardest moments of our lives.
Right now, my dad isn’t doing well. His health has taken a turn, and it’s shaken all of us. If you know me, then you know exactly who my father is: a God-fearing man, a well of wisdom, love, and spiritual strength, the kind of soul who gives knowledge and comfort as freely as others give candy. He’s lifted countless people up with nothing but his presence, his heart, and his light.
And now, he needs us.
I’m not ready to say goodbye. I believe in divine timing—but I also believe in family, in community, in love that refuses to give up. I believe that when people come together, miracles happen.
If you’ve ever heard my dad speak, been guided by his counsel, laughed with him, or just felt his love—please know this: your support can make a difference right now. We’re trying to secure medication and treatments to get him back on his feet and back where he belongs: with his family, fully alive, fully present, fully healed.
In these hard times, I know how much everyone is going through. The economy is rough, life is hectic, and the world feels heavy. But even the smallest bit of love can ripple out in ways you can’t imagine. Whether it’s financial support, a prayer, a message, or simply sharing this with someone who might be able to help—we need you.
To all our friends, family, coaches, teammates, and loved ones: thank you. I’m asking from the depths of my heart—help us keep this beautiful soul here with us a little longer. I’m not ready to let go, and I know I’m not the only one.
