Help Give Our Daughter Her Voice—and Her Future
Our daughter just turned five. She’s smart, beautiful, curious—and completely nonverbal.
At three years old, she was diagnosed with Level 2 Autism and ADHD. Despite every effort and therapy we’ve pursued so far, she still cannot speak a single word. She can’t tell us when she’s hungry or tired. She can’t say “Mommy” or “Daddy.” But if you could meet her, you’d see a vibrant little girl filled with potential—just waiting to be unlocked.
As her parents, we have one mission: to give her a voice.
That’s why we are launching this fundraiser. We are determined to get her the therapies and medical support she needs—but we cannot do it alone.
What We’re Raising Funds For:
Stem Cell Therapy (Europe):
This treatment, not available in the U.S., has shown promising results in helping children with autism develop speech and communication. We would need to temporarily relocate overseas for 6–8 weeks with our daughter and our younger child to make this happen.
Estimated cost: $45,000 (treatment, travel, lodging, and lost income during that time)
Leucovorin Treatment:
This prescription medication, originally developed to reduce side effects of chemotherapy, is now being used in clinical studies to help nonverbal autistic children speak. We want to give her access to this potentially life-changing therapy under the supervision of a knowledgeable specialist.
Cubby Bed (Safety Sleep System):
Like many autistic children, our daughter suffers from severe sleep disturbances. A specialized cubby bed (costing between $5,000–$8,000) would provide her with a secure, calming environment that helps her sleep—and helps our family function. It zips completely closed and protects her when she’s awake at odd hours and unable to understand verbal redirection.
Therapies, Equipment, and Support:
Occupational therapy, behavioral therapy, communication devices—every dollar raised will go toward resources that help her grow, communicate, and live a more independent life.

Why We Need Help
We’ve spent the last few years fighting for every inch of progress. We’ve made sacrifices, cut costs, and poured our hearts and finances into giving our daughter every opportunity possible. But some of the most promising interventions are beyond our reach financially—especially ones not covered by insurance or only available outside the U.S.
We estimate that $75,000 would allow us to provide the best chance for our daughter to find her voice, sleep peacefully, and develop into the incredible person we know she can become. Any remaining funds will be placed in a trust to continue supporting her therapies, schooling, and long-term care needs.
