Little Sister’s Lupus and Legal Struggle

A month ago my little sister fell ill. After several hospital trips and urgent care visits with no answer as to why she was getting worse, she ended up being admitted into Women’s and Children’s. My mom and I are trying to rotate shifts and manage this unexpected event the best we can.

She had to undergo more than any person should have to. At first, they suspected leukemia so the testing alone has been unbearable for her. She had to have everything from a blood transfusion to a kidney biopsy. While we were blessed to find out is was not leukemia we ended up with a diagnosis of lupus. They are still in the hospital fighting this thing and she has been a trooper despite all she has to go through. Somehow in the midst of all of this her “father” in which she has never laid eyes on managed to have a court date without my mom even being served papers informing her that it was taking place. He won the fight because she did not even know to be there because she was in the hospital with my little sister. She is missing work and the expenses are adding up fast.

If you can help her in anyway I know she would be grateful. If you can’t donate then please help me share this.
