Help Katelyn Heal: Support a Grieving Widow & Devoted Mom
One week ago, our beloved friend Katelyn Garcia suffered a sudden and serious ankle fracture that required surgery. She is now facing weeks of non-weight bearing recovery, at least 3 months without driving, and a complete pause in her ability to work or manage daily life as a solo parent to her daughter, Ayda.
Katelyn is fiercely independent and the kind of person who shows up for everyone else. This injury has not only been physically painful—it’s turned her life upside down.
Many of you know Katelyn’s story. After losing her husband Jimmy, she has been courageously rebuilding her life. In the face of unimaginable grief, she’s found purpose in helping others—leading the Never Alone Widows group in Colorado Springs, offering strength, comfort, and community to other grieving women.
Now it’s our turn to show up for her.
Let’s rally around Katelyn and show her what it truly means to care for the widow in her time of need.
“True spirituality that is pure in the eyes of our Father God is to make a difference in the lives of the orphans and widows in their troubles.” — James 1:27 (TPT)
