In this time of need, I am reaching out to share my father’s story and ask for your support. My name is Frank Cassanelli Jr., and I am starting this fundraiser campaign to help cover my father’s medical bills.
My father suffered a stroke in February and is now in need of long-term care to aid in his recovery process. Throughout this difficult time, my family is becoming overwhelmed with medical expenses, and we are asking for your help to ensure that my father receives the care he urgently needs.
Your donation, no matter how big or small, will make a significant impact on his journey to recovery. I am deeply grateful for any assistance you can provide during this challenging period. Your generosity will not only help towards his battle but also bring hope and strength to my father as he battles through this obstacle.
He’s a devoted family man, and after working 35 years in the Carpenters Union in NYC, he had finally retired last year at 63. He now finds himself facing a new challenge. Unfortunately, insurance only covers 30 days of rehab per calendar year, leaving him in need of long-term care that would have to be paid out of pocket.
Frank has endured more than anyone should ever have to face. After having the stroke, they found he had an aneurysm on his brain. A successful surgery helped to remove the aneurysm and brain bleed in his head. He still needs open-heart surgery due to having bacteria on his heart valve, and the battle is far from over. Having half his skull removed was just the beginning; the road ahead is still fraught with challenges. Despite a successful surgery and having another brain bleed, he was back in the operating room. During the first week, he went into cardiac arrest twice, but through it all, Frank has shown unimaginable strength and resilience.
Despite the financial burden, Frank’s generosity and selflessness shone through as he never hesitated to put others first. His family rallied around him, knowing that the man who had always gone the distance for them deserved the same in return. Frank embraced his new full-time role as a grandpa, finding joy in spending time with his three grandkids and loving dog Soldier, while his wife and children supported him through this difficult time.
Now, it is our turn to rally behind him, to come together and fight for his recovery. As he faces yet another surgery to reattach his skull, our support and love will be his guiding light. Frank’s courage in the face of such adversity inspires us all to stand by him and fight alongside him. Let us show him that he is not alone in this battle, that we believe in his strength and determination to overcome every obstacle in his path.
Thank you for supporting us in this time of need.
