This is my Dad, Lee. On April 22, 2025, he was in a car accident that we believe was caused by a stroke. Upon getting him to the hospital, we discovered that there had been at least four of them, along with bleeding on his brain and blood clots in his legs and lungs. He has had two surgeries to remove the clots and was given an IVC filter. His association, cognitive thinking, and peripheral vision have all been severely affected. My Dad is not the same as he was before the accident and has a long road to recovery, which we are still unsure of exactly what that looks like. Initially, the plan was to bring him home after he completed physical therapy, but he is going to need 24/7 care. He is going to need help with medical expenses both from the hospital stay and now for the care he is going to continuously need from here. Any help is greatly appreciated.
