My mom was diagnosed with small cell carcinoma in her lung February of last year. She’s a very strong woman who refuses to let it control her. The cancer has spread to her liver and bones over the last year or so, and now more recently, it has spread to her brain. Her meager social security income just doesn’t cover all the medical bills and copayments, which are stacking up.
