My life changed drastically after I broke my foot. At first, I thought it would be a temporary issue, something I could heal from with rest and patience. But it hasn’t healed properly, a little over half a year later and I’m still left unable to walk normally. Every step is painful, and I can no longer stand or move like I used to. It’s not just an injury anymore—it’s something that’s taken over my ability to live day to day.
Because of this, I can’t work. I physically can’t keep a job when I can’t be on my feet or move around without constant pain. I’ve been told I need surgery to fix the damage, but I simply can’t afford it. With no insurance and no income, I’m stuck living with a broken foot that won’t heal and no way to get the care I need.
On top of that, I’m battling severe stomach issues. I’ve been diagnosed with IBS, but the pain, nausea, acid reflux, and vomiting I experience almost every day feel like more than that. I suspect I may have Crohn’s Disease, but I can’t afford the colonoscopy or other testing needed to confirm it. I live with constant discomfort—gut pain that won’t let up, meals that make me sick, and no clear path forward.
Some days I feel completely hopeless—injured, in pain, and helpless to fix it. What I need most is access to medical care: surgery for my foot, treatment for my stomach issues, and answers to what’s really going on with my body. But without money, insurance, or the ability to work, It’s impossible on my own.
Anything will help—big or small donations are all heavily appreciated. If you can’t donate, please take the time to share my story. Thank you so much! I just want to be able to start working again and live a normal life.
